Another night I cannot sleep, oh Lord I'm in too deep. Down in a pit screaming for help! Been so long, I can barely yelp. I know you see me, it's divine. Just knowing you're a God all mine. Selfish maybe, heaven awaits. Still not ready for those pearly white gates. Give me a sign, light up my path. Might be slow, but willing to last. I know together we can take over the sky, like eagles soaring way up high. It's in me yes I will not lie. But thinking hard can make me cry. Where did I go wrong? Tell me Lord, where do I belong? Times are tough but I know they can be worse. Is this real life, it feels rehearsed. Smart cookie you see, baked with love and individuality.
